Want to Raise the Level Cap? Here Is What Razer Has in Store for You

If there was one area at IFA Berlin that was positively lit, then it was definitely the Razer zone, and we don’t just mean the RGB front.

Razer unveiled three new gaming products at IFA 2018 and we were there to talk to Hilmar Hahn from Global Product Marketing and see what exactly about them created so much hype.

On the audio front, the Kraken Tournament Edition headset received an upgrade that also brings a world premiere: it’s the first headset with THX Spatial Audio, which, using precise sound placement, will let you know exactly who’s coming at you in a game. What’s also notable is the fact that Razer truly listens to its community when it comes to launching updates. The new Kraken Tournament Edition headset swaps the circular earpads for oval ones, which are always comfier, and there’s also a cooling gel inside the memory foam for those longer gaming sessions.

Oldschool Razer fans definitely got a present with the new Mamba Wireless mouse which is not only much more accurate but also cheaper. Coming with Razer’s new 5G optical sensor and 16,000 DPI, the new Razer Mamba is an upgrade you shouldn’t skip.

However, what we were most impressed by is the new Blackwidow Elite, the upgraded Chroma V2 keyboard. It brings new media keys, a circular wheel for volume controls and, of course, a wide variety of mechanical switches that will definitely click with any PC gaming enthusiast.

But let’s hear it straight from Razer – what makes their new PC gaming accessories truly raise the level cap?
