Realme fans have been expecting the company to release a Snapdragon 888-powered flagship and the company did not disappoint!
Check out the Realme GT 5G, one of the most affordable phones with the latest Snapdragon 888, which will retail for just $430.
That price tag is even more inviting when you look at the rest of the specs.
The Realme GT 5G also has a 6.43” AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate that can be adjusted with 5 different settings to fit your scrolling needs.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 888 is joined by 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The bad news?
The Realme GT 5G has no microSD slot.
The good news?
This new Realme phone does have room for two nano-SIM cards and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rarity nowadays.
As for the camera, it’s a 3 sensor setup with a 64MP main sensor, a 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor, capable of recording 4K 60fps videos and slow-mo in 720p 480fps.
On the front, the 16MP selfie camera is sitting in the upper left corner.
Since this is a massive screen, the battery is a 4,500 mAh one with 65W fast charge…but there’s no wireless charge.
If you’re ready to upgrade to the Realme GT 5G, the only difficult choice will be the color scheme.
The Galactic Silver and Deep Sea Blue are $430 for the 8GB RAM/128 GB combo. The eye-catching Dawn Yellow with a leather look will be available in just the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option and will cost $510, just like the fully upgraded Silver and Blue Realme GT 5G.
Today marks the day the Realme GT launches in China but right now we don’t know when the phone will be available in other countries.
