The Samsung Galaxy A8s was launched on December 10th but the smartphone did not come with a price tag, until today when it found its way to the Jing Dong Mall, priced at CNY 2,999 which roughly translates into $434 after conversion.
JD.com is currently receiving pre-orders of the device with shipments set to begin on December 31st, but keep in mind that, at the moment, the price is only available for the 6GB RAM version, while the 8GB one, at the time this article is being written, does not yet have a price.
Both of them come with 128GB of internal storage though with a microSD slot available for up to 512GB. The phone has a Snapdragon 710 under the hood, Android Pie out of the box with the customized UI for China and a 3,400mAh battery.
The phone has a 24MP front camera set into an Infinity O cut out in the panel with a 24MP + 10MP + 5MP triple camera system on the back.
The smartphone is available for order in all three colors: Blue, Aurora Black and Alien Silver and the early buyers will also get some extras in their box that count items such as power banks or JD vouchers.
