This week, more than one device from Samsung has been released in the wild. Yesterday, the company launched the Windows 10 tablet we saw at MWC 2017, Galaxy Book #hardwaremagic
Samsung’s response to Microsoft Surface is available for purchase now. The LTE version of Galaxy Book 12 can be bought from Verizon already. As for the Wi-Fi models, they can be pre-ordered from the company’s official site as well as selected retailers – one of them is Best Buy. If you want to wait and see how others feel about it, check the international release on May 21st.
They don’t come cheap, though. The 10.6-inch Galaxy Book 10 with Wi-Fi starts at $629.99, while the bigger model with just Wi-Fi on board, Galaxy Book 12, is selling for $1,129.99. With LTE on board, prices go up; you will be giving $1,299.99 for the larger model, for example.
For this money, you get thinner and even slimmer (in the case of Galaxy Book 12) tablets than Surface Pro 4. Both models ensure 10.5 hours of playback, content syncing with your phone and you get a stylus and keyboard from the get-go, in the same package. As for performance, you should know that Book 10 is equipped with an Intel Core m3 processor while the bigger model has a 7th Gen Intel Core i5.
