Samsung has announced that its upcoming Unpacked event is set to take place on February 20th. The company plans to unveil the Galaxy S10, S10+ and the S10 Lite then but it looks like we already have a pretty clear look at one of the handsets, weeks ahead of the official launch.
91mobiles managed to get their hands on the official press renders of the Samsung Galaxy S10+ from a ‘reliable source’ and now we can see the device in all its glory, back and front.
The device features two front cameras, neatly tucked inside a punch-hole display on the top right. Thanks to this design choice, the bezels around the 6.4 inch display are quite slim.
The triple camera setup on the back is flanked by an LED flash but there’s no fingerprint sensor anywhere to be seen which means that we will most likely find the sensor in-display. If not, then Samsung might have decided to use its Intelligent Scan feature instead, which makes use of both face unlock and iris scanning technology.
We’re expecting the phone to come with either the Snapdragon 855 chipset or the Exynos 9820, but we don’t have enough information on hand to lean in either direction for now.
Other than that, it looks like Samsung is giving into gradient hues, as the back of the phone shines in baby pink and light blue in the renders.
Reportedly, the smartphone will be available for pre-order immediately after the launch.
