Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Teardown Unveils A Very Powerful Phone

iFixit just came up with Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra Teardown, breaking down all the phone’s specs in great detail. According to iFxit, “It’s a monster”, and can hardly be compared to any other Samsung phone.

It seems like Samsung created this phone keeping in mind not to ‘leave any specs behind’, and the company kept its promise. 

Galaxy S20 Ultra runs on Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM (16 GB optional) and packs a 5,000 mAh battery. Its 6.9″ Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display integrates an array of cameras – a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 108-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 48-megapixel telephoto camera and a 40-megapixel selfie camera – all in the biggest camera contender you have ever seen.

The highlight of the camera is the new sensor which the company claims it can shoot clear photos even in low light conditions due to a new barrier built around each pixel, a pixel binning method called “nona-binning”.

iFixit offered Galaxy S20 Ultra the repairability score of 3 out of 10. Keep in mind 10 represents the easiest to repair.
