Mac Studio Teardown Reveals Apple’s Incredible PC Engineering Feats (And 2 SSD Slots!)

Just how much engineering goes into one of the new Mac Studios

YouTuber Max Tech posted a Mac Studio teardown to his channel. Take a look at the incredible engineering feats Apple pulled to cram so much high tech in such a small package!

During the teardown, Max Tech also discovered a potentially upgradeable SSD storage, as the Mac Studio has two SSD slots.

Even more, those SSD slots are relatively easy to access by removing the Studio’s rubber backing to reveal four screws holding a panel that protects them.

Right now, the official word from Apple is that the Mac Studio comes standard with 512 GB of “superfast SSD storage” and that it is not user accessible.

Until Apple explains what those 2 SSD slots on the Mac Studio are for, the official way to get more storage is indeed to pay Apple for an upgrade.

The standard Mac Studio with 512GB storage costs $1999 and can be upgraded with up to 8 TB of storage for an extra $2,400.
