Samsung is introducing the Samsung M5 and Samsung M7 monitors as the “world’s first do-it-all screen”.
You should definitely pay attention to them because they’re not just regular monitors, but actually work as smart TVs as well.
Plus, they start at $230!
Both of these “do-it-all” screens let you stream Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV and other services over WiFi, without needing a PC or a mobile device.
They can also connect to your phone with Apple AirPlay 2, App Casting or Tap view, and even support Microsoft Office 365 apps – just use the remote to access the files on your laptop or PC.
Even more, both the Samsung M7 and the M5 have Alexa and Bixby 2.0 voice assistants support.
Since they’re also compatible with Vesa mounts, you can set them up anywhere you’d like. They’re not quite the Samsung Space Monitor but they have undeniably attractive features!
They also have in common two 5W built-in speakers and have VA panels with 8ms (GTG) response time.
What’s the difference between them?
The Samsung M7 is the more expensive model, coming in at $400 for the 32-inch model with UHD resolution, 60 hZ refresh rate, support for HDR10 and a USB Type-C port for up to 65W charging.
The Samsung M5 is available in 27-inch and 32-inch options, both of them in full HD, and retails for $230 and $280, respectively.
Right now, the Samsung Smart Monitor line-up is available in the US, Canada and China and will start shipping to other countries starting late November.
