Samsung Reveals The Notebook 9 Pen A Month Before CES 2019

Samsung

Though we’re still a month away from CES 2019, which is set to take place in January, some companies have already started to tease products and make announcements, with Samsung being one of them.

The company has now announced the Notebook 9 Pen 15 inch laptop with an improved S Pen, which seems to be the star of the show. The pen comes with a reduced latency of up to two times faster than before, according to Samsung. It also has customizable options in order to help the users reach the style of drawing they prefer.

The S Pen is stored directly in the PC and doesn’t need to be charged.

As far as the rest of the Notebook 9 Pen goes, it’s not that different from its predecessor – what Samsung promises to be different though is the fact that it will come with the latest 8th Gen Intel processors and gigabit Wi-Fi. It also hosts two Thunderbolt 3 ports now and a single USB-C plug a headphone jack and a microSD slot.

Samsung didn’t release any details concerning the pricing but, considering the 2017 Notebook 9 Pen was $1,399, we can probably expect the new model to be similarly priced.

We’ll know more at the CES 2019 and we’ll keep you posted.
