As forward-thinking as Samsung is, the manufacturer still has a soft spot for the golden age of cellphones, when the clamshell handset reigned. That’s one reason why this December the South Korean device maker will debut a premium flip phone with Android aboard and dual-side touch display #mobilemagic
The Samsung W2018 might fold but it’s not to be confused with the foldable device the same company is promising to showcase next year. While that mobile phone is said to be the first one with a single display that bends at the users’s will, this one is actually sporting a double-sided touchscreen with a separate physical keyboard.
This vido leaked on Weibo seems to show the device that will be unveiled on December 1st. What was just a rumor is clearly on the path of being a reality in China:

If you’re wondering what exactly are the specifications for the mobile device, here’s what we know:
- 4.2-inch, 1080p AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 835 chipset
- 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage
- 5 MP front shooter and 12 MP rear camera
- 2,300 mAh battery
- Android Nougat out of the box
Unfortunately, the devices are expected to sell only in China, at least for now.
