We are now only a week away from the moment Samsung will reveal the new Galaxy Note 20 lineup. Samsung Unpacked 2020 will take place on August 5th, and will be streamed online on the companies website.

Like the latest Galaxy S20, the new Note 20 Series will be equipped with Samsung’s own processor, the Exynos 990, in some markets, such as Europe. The chip on the S20 wasn’t as performant as the company hoped and required multiple updates to fix bugs. For the upcoming Note 20 though, experienced tipster @TheGalox_ suggests Samsung improved the processor ahead of the release.

The new Galaxy Note 20 doesn’t promise to be all that great, sticking with the classic 60Hz screen and a plastic back. The upcoming Note 20 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to be a lot better than its predecessor with a 120Hz LTPO panel, a better S Pen, and an improved camera system.

Apart from the Note 20 Series, Samsung will also announce the next Z Fold 2, Buds X, and more. The company will also push on promoting its inhouse built components, such as the new Exynos 990 processor. Samsung is planning to get a bigger piece of the component market and increase its profits, with smartphone sales predictions not being very high.

It’s not long now until we will get to see the new Note 20 Series for our selves. Until then, have a look at the latest rumors about the upcoming lineup.
