Scooby-Doo fans will have to wait until May 15 when the new Scooby-Doo film will be released, but not in cinemas.

Because of the global CO-VID 9 pandemic, all big events and gatherings have been suspended, therefore, cinemas are closed too.

This kind of situation is also a premiere for the industry, as “Scoob!” becomes one of the many major films to be shut down from a traditional theater release and become available for rent or buy.

“While we’re all eager to be able to once again show our films in theaters, we’re navigating new, unprecedented times which call for creative thinking and adaptability in how we distribute our content,” said Ann Sarnoff, Warner Bros. chief executive, in a statement.

Scoob will become available for video-on-demand services starting May 15, when it was supposed to arrive in cinemas, and will cost $19.99 for rent, while buying will cost $24.99.
