Unexpectedly, Sony introduced not one but two pairs of true wireless headphones with noise cancelling. And both are much more affordable than you’d expect!
The Sony WF-XB700 and WH-CH710 go for $130 and $200, respectively.
The $200 Sony WF-XB700 is part of the Sony Extra Bass lineup, and offers 9 hours of battery life with another 9 hours in the charging case.
With a single 10-minute quick charge through the USB-C port you will get an hour of music playback.
Sony says that the WF-XB700 wireless earbuds have a “tri-hold structure” for a comfortable fit and that they are also IPX4 splash and water-resistant.
The $130 Sony WH-CH710N are fitted with 30 mm drivers and have AI-powered noise cancellation that analyzes ambient sound through dual microphones and auto-selects the best noise-cancelling profile.
They’re fitted with Bluetooth 5.0, have a one-touch button for Google Assistant and Alexa, and offer up to 35 hours of audio on a single charge.
Like the Sony WF-XB700, they also have 60 minutes of playback through a 10 minute quick charge.
Both will be available for pre-order in April.
