Are we jumping the gun with thoughts of Halloween? Maybe, but seriously, the Sony SRS-XB501G speaker is too perfect for the occasion to not mention it.
Sony has been having a blast at IFA, launching smartwatches, phones, headphones, and while this speaker may not be as innovative as those, it’s certainly a party staple. Coming fall, it might just be what you need to get that Halloween mood on!
The SRS-XB501G speaker weighs around 6 pounds and offers up to 16 hours of playback thanks to the rechargeable battery. You can play music via Bluetooth, connect it to Wi-Fi aaand even ask Google Assistant to help you with some spooky sounds, holiday-themed.
The speaker comes with an AC adapter, is splash-resistant and dustproof, if you’re thinking of spending the night around the pool. It also comes with an AC adapter and has a USB-C port for charging your phone, if you’ve opened Spotify, for example.
Before I forget, the thing I also appreciate about this Sony device is its threaded tripod mount which makes it very handy for any type of environment.
The Sony SRS-XB501G speaker will sell in October for $300.
