Sony announced three new 4K HDR home cinema projectors during the IFA Berlin and they promise to deliver not only to movie lovers and sport fans but to gamers as well.
The projectors, called VPL-VW870ES, VPL-VW570ES and VPL-VW270ES come with Sony’s evolved 4K Motionflow, which adds extra frames that reduce blur while also maintaining brightness. The feature is perfect for scenes that move very fast, such as sporting events.
Thanks to the Reality Creation feature, Sony aims to provide gamers with enhanced clarity and noise-less resolution by analyzing every element of an image.
The VPL-VW870ES model is the premium variant that comes from the company. It has 2,200 lumens of lamp brightness and it comes equipped with ARC-F (All Range Crisp Focus) that ensures high precision in every corner of the image. It also has a Picture Position Memory feature that allows it to quickly change the format setting with options that range from 16:9 to Cinemascope.
The VPL-VW270ES comes with 1,500 lumens of lamp brightness, while the VPL-VW570ES offers 1,800. Both of these models are the middle range options and come available in black and white and share most of the features of the VPL-VW870ES.
The VPL-VW570ES and the VPL-VW270ES will be available throughout Europe starting October, while the VPL-VW870ES will come around in November.
