The successor of Microsoft Surface Pro 4, the Surface Pro with LTE Advanced, went on sale after being up for pre-order since the beginning of last month. Now, business users and regular consumers can try it out!
Before you go and spend your savings to buy the Surface Pro with LTE, you should know a couple of things. First, unlike the Wi-fi only model, this Surface with LTE Advanced cannot be upgraded to an Intel Core i7 Processor – there’s only one model available. Then, since LTE is the main addition to the model, it has to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 LTE modem.
Now, the display is a 12.3-inch PixelSense with a 2736 x 1824 px resolution. If that sounds like a good fit for you and you happen to live in the U.S., Canada or Australia, expect to pay $1,449. For that hefty price tag you’ll enjoy 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of SSD storage, and an Intel Core i5-7300U processor.
Not too bad right?
Especially if you decide to skip on the $129,99 Microsoft Surface Keyboard and $99 Surface Pen for now.
