According to a research note reported by MacRumors, the Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter that normally comes bundled up with the iPhones will not be included with the newest iPhone models anymore.
The headphone jack initially appeared two years ago when the iPhone 7 was released without one, and Apple has always included them in the box with the models that followed, but it seems like this trend might soon come to an end.
This rumor was also reported by Barclays a while ago in April and reportedly in the new note there is direct confirmation concerning the headphone jack adapter from Cirrus Logic, which is one of the suppliers for the adapter.
So far, Apple has not released an official statement, but, with the launch of the new iPhones just around the corner, we’re bound to hear something about it pretty soon.
