Samsung rushed ahead of CES 2022 to show how their Samsung TVs will display NFTs and now Netgear jumps in as well.
The Netgear Meural smart frame is soon to become a way to show off your NFTs and other digital artworks.
The company is now working to integrate the existing Meural smart frame with the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet and will start beta testing this integration come February.
This will allow you to actually upload your NFTs to Meural, safely store them and, of course, display them.
If you’re still not convinced about the value of these digital artworks registered on the blockchain, you can simply use the Meural as a regular smart frame to display the pics you didn’t buy with cryptocurrency.
The Meural smart frame will have a library of digital art and photography, which will be available as a monthly or annual subscription ($8.95 and $69.95 respectively).
Or, you know, you could be a caveperson and simply transfer your own photos using the MicroSD card slot or the app.
Either way, Netgear is going hard on NFTs, as are most brands trying to profit from the latest crypto craze.
A Meural Smart frame costs $300 for the 13.5 x 7.5 model, which sits on a desk, and $400 and $500 for the 16 x 24 and 19 x 29 inches models. You can find them on Amazon or on Netgear’s own website.
