Meet the ultimate TV: the striking new Bang & Olufsen Beovision Harmony OLED TV! This TV will change your perspective over what a great audio-visual experience should look like.
The impressive Beovision Harmony made its debut at the 2019 Milan Design Week. The device features two oak & aluminum-made “wings” that house its audio system. Already promising, isn’t it? Normally, the two wings sit together as a square in front of the television. Once switched on, the wings fold out and the screen rises, acting as a front-facing soundbar. Now, your cinematic experience is complete!
When you switch it off, the wings will fall back into the initial resting position, while the speakers will still be ready to be used like any other ordinary sound system.
The Danish brand has a unique “design-first” approach focused on the widespread trend of hiding a TV in plain sight, making it part of the furniture, while keeping it highly functional.
Besides the choreographed and motorised speakers, the Beovision Harmony comes with a screen which is basically borrowed from the LG OLED C9 – a 77-inch configuration, with improvements to support the butterfly-effect speakers. The screen is performance-to-price oriented with updated features and new image processing tweaks.
The device supports LG’s webOS 4.5 smart apps, such as Netflix and Amazon, plus AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth connectivity, and the usual benefits of a top-flight OLED TV.
What about the speakers?
They make up a three-channel configuration, designed to work with Bang & Olufsen’s multiroom speaker sets such as the Beolab 18, Beolab 50 and Beolab 90.
The TV and speaker system is launching this October, at the price of approximately 18,500 Euro. It will be available in either an oak wood and aluminum model or a “Grey Melange” fabric and aluminum style, with either a floor stand or a wall bracket.
