China is taking the smartphone industry by storm. Beside established brands such as Oppo, Huawei and Meizu, new companies strives to find their place in the market. Vernee was founded last month but has already unveiled their flagship phone, Apollo, with remarkable features.
The new company marks a Newbund’s transfer from OEM/ODM to public market, with phones set to raise questions and excitement between peers and users. The Apollo is pretty safe in its design but what’s under the hood is a real show-stopper.
This never-before-seen smartphone has a 5.5″ “2K” display, with Mediatek Helio X20 chipset, 6GB of RAM (just like the Vivo Xplay5), 128 GB of internal storage, a 21 MP Sony IMX230 sensor and 8 MP front-facing camera. Couple that with a full metal jacket, Android Marshmallow and USB Type-C and you can honestly say it has everything you need.
The only problem is… can you rely on its performance as you would with a reliable player? Sometimes it sounds too good to be true…
