When you can receive better weather reports from the camera in your backyard than the local forecast, you know you’re not in Kansas anymore. Bloom Sky has updated their version of sky camera and added a new, exciting accessory #fotomagic
The community-based smart weather camera station has returned with better temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and precipitation measurements. It has a HD camera that captures real-time images every couple of minutes and prepares a time-lapse at the end of the day, showing you the sky like few times before.
Besides the camera, you get a new gadget called Storm (yes, like the comics hero) that monitors wind speed and direction, UV rays and total rainfall. This connects to the Sky cam wirelessly so finding a spot for it shouldn’t be a problem. From that point on, come rain or shine, you’ll see what awaits for you when you leave for work or go for a jog. Weather talk might even get interesting, since you can broadcast weather trends and changes to other users via mobile app. Share a picture or two and be part of the community!
If you’re a weather guy/gal at heart, check out the system on Kickstarter.
