Coming out of E3 2021, Ubisoft reminded fans that it had several major titles set to release in the near future. Unfortunately, two of those will now be delayed.

In two separate posts, Ubisoft announced that Riders Republic and Rainbow Six Extraction would both be delayed. Riders Republic has been delayed from September 2nd to October 28th while Rainbow Six Extraction will no release January 2022.

While both announcements are relatively brief, they both hint at wanting more time to realize the vision of the game.

Riders Republic is a massive online multiplayer game where the conceit is extreme sports and doing tricks in some of the most scenic locations around the world. Rainbow Six Extraction is a new take on the Rainbow Six franchise that focuses more on cooperative multiplayer PvE. In particular, operators can go missing in action, meaning you and your team have to save them before they are able to be played again.
