Just a few days left until IFA 2019 kicks off and with a September launch coming right up, the Vivo Nex 3 specs are already out on display thanks to a TENAA listing.
Late last week, a YouTuber posted an exclusive unboxing of the latest Vivo flagship and showed off in detail the “waterfall” display with a near perfect screen-to-body ratio – 99.6 percent, the highest in a smartphone so far.
Now, most rumors and speculations are confirmed, starting with the 6.89-inch fullHD+ (2256 x 1080) AMOLED display with curved edges.
According to the TENAA certification, the Vivo Nex 3 uses a 64-bit 2.96 GHz octa-core processor which, considering what’s on the market, could only be the flagship Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 855 Plus.
The Vivo Nex 3 will pair that with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and either 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
The listing also confirms the triple rear camera setup comprised of Samsung’s 64 MP sensor paired with two 13 MP ones. On the front, the Vivo Nex 3 will offer a 16 MP pop-up selfie camera.
With a metal and glass body, the Vivo Nex 3 measures 167.44 x 76.18 x 9.4mm and weighs 218.5 grams.
These sizes and demanding specs point to a massive battery and Vivo did not disappoint.
The Vivo Nex 3 is powered by a 4,410 mAh one with fast-charging.
TENAA didn’t mention what type of fast charge we’re looking at but we’ve seen rumors claiming a whopping 120 W.
