Recently, Wang Xiang, Xiaomi‘s senior VP, has shared a video illustrating the Mi Mix 3 5G streaming a video in 8K resolution on a 5G network.
As we already know, the smartphone features all the hardware needed to make this happen, namely a Snapdragon 855 processor and a Snapdragon X50 5G modem. Therefore, the super high speed and low latency achieved with 5G in the demo below can really make a difference in terms of mobile experience.
The company stated that their Mi Mix 3 5G performed great when using China Unicom’s 5G in Shanghai and is perfectly capable of playing 8K ultra HD videos.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G has a starting price of 599 euros and will become available in Europe this May.
