Logitech is now also waltzing into the wireless charging game ballroom with the Powered Wireless Charging Stand. The device is set to launch later this month and will be priced at $69.99.
According to the company, the charging stand was designed in collaboration with Apple. If you look at it closely, you’ll see a resemblance to Apple;s own design language. It would easily be something they’d launch – the white color scheme and the notches, to start with.
The pad is made out of sturdy plastic that grips the device well, even when it is vibrating and it allows the phone to stand both horizontally and vertically, in case you want to use it while it is charging.
It also comes with built-in overheat protection which helps regulate the temperature.
Again, the charging stand definitely has Apple roots, and not only because of the price tag. The 7.5W wireless fast charging standard it comes with is used only by Apple, so unless you’re using an iPhone, you’ll have to pass it as a present or forget about it completely.
