Today, Xiaomi has announced the global version of the Mi Band 5, within its smart home ecosystem showcase. In Europe and the U.K. the fitness tracker band will be commercialized under the name Mi Band 5 Smart, and will not be officially sold in the United States.
The global version of the fitness tracker remains generally unchanged from the Chinese model, but it adds NFC, SpO2 tracking, and a voice assistant.
In terms of specs, the fitness tracker band promises 14-day battery life, heart rate monitoring, women’s health tracking, 65 theme versions, 2.5D tempered glass panel that protects the screen from scratches and abrasions and a 1.1 -inch AMOLED display. However, the global version of the Mi Band 5 will lack the blood oxygen tracker.

Moreover, this smart device gathers all the information and creates PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence), a matrix with values from which you can easily read key health indicators.
The fitness tracker comes in five strap colorways: black, yellow, navy blue, orange, teal, and mint green, and will cost about €39.99 in Europe.
