Unofficial Xiaomi Mi 9 renders have surfaced on the web, on Weibo, to be more exact, and, though they might not be officially recognized yet, they do fit the profile of what was rumored the device will turn out to be like.
We can see that the handset will have a triple camera with a reported 48MP main, while the other two will feature 18MP and 8MP sensors.
The screen will most likely measure 6.4 inches and will come with a teardrop notch that might or might not be as small as shown in the renders.
The Mi 9 will come with improved fast charging, a feature that Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed a while ago during a round of questions from Xiaomi users that took place on Weibo.
Reportedly, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 855.
Xiaomi does have an event planned for the MWC this year but nothing is hinting at the fact that it might choose to release the Mi 9 during the show. Even so, the company might choose to surprise us. If they do, we’ll let you know.
