After a series of teasers and rumors, Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is finally out, coming to the United Kingdom under the name of Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 looks great and can be purchased in five different colors, either from the official website mi.com, or from other retail outlets.
As you know, the Xiaomi Mi Band became very popular for good reason, as it offers plenty of features at a reasonable price. This one is no different.
In terms of specs, we’re looking at a bigger AMOLED screen (0.95 inches) – not monochrome, but colored this time – with a 5ATM water resistant design (down to 50 meters), as well as a six-axis sensor and AI assistant functionality (Xiao AI assistant).
The fitness band also features heart-rate monitoring, an alarm functionality, a sedentary reminder, sleep tracking, notification mirroring, smart home integration, and Bluetooth 5.0, among other useful characteristics.
The standard model comes with a 135mAh battery and its battery life is supposed to last 20 days. On the other hand, the Mi Band 4 with NFC features a smaller 125mAh battery with up to 15 days of battery.
To get an idea of the updates made in that area, it’s worth recalling that the Mi Band 3 variant came up with a 110mAh battery that lasted for 20 days at the most.
In terms of costs, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 starts at 169 yuan (~$24), and goes up to 229 yuan (~$33) for the Mi Band 4 NFC – with capabilities for speedy payments.
We don’t know the exact date when the device will arrive in UK under the new name, but we do know Xiaomi is committed to bringing the devices this summer for about 35 pounds (~$45).
