Alongside the Mi Band 5 worldwide release, new scooters and some new entertainment options, Xiaomi also introduced a new pair of wireless earbuds.
Meet the new Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic.
They skip the active noise cancellation (ANC) from the already-available Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, probably to keep costs low, but they do sound promising.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic has up to 20 hours of battery life if you count the case charges as well.
The Xiaomi buds promise 5 hours of uninterrupted use from a full charge.
The company also says that the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic charge fully in just 1.5 hours using USB-C, which is a decent performance when it comes to budget wireless earbuds.
Even more, they also work independently, so you can pair separately for single-ear listening.
They feature in-ear detection that automatically pauses audio when one of the buds is removed.
Like their version without “Basic” in the name, they have double-tap for pause and play, phone calls, and voice controls.
Xiaomi said they will retail for EUR 39.99 but be available at an early-price of EUR 29.99.
