Samsung is getting ready for the live-streamed Unpacked event on August 5th where it will finally announce the new Galaxy Note 20 Series as well as the Z Fold 2. Until then, the company opened reservations for the devices it’s about to release.
Bear in mind, reserving a device is not the same thing as pre-ordering it. Still, you do get a few perks for taking the time to book a device. Firstly, you get the chance to be one of the first to order Samsung’s next big thing when it becomes available, making sure you get early delivery.
Samsung is also offering a $50 voucher for anyone who reserves a device and goes ahead with the pre-order. The coupon can only be used on “eligible devices and accessories”, separately highlighting that you’ll only be free to “accessorize your Galaxy or add a smartwatch” using the $50 coupon. It’s not mentioned if the offer applies to the Z Fold 2 as well. You can reserve the next Galaxy here.
Reservations are open until August 4th, which means pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 20 Series will most likely start soon after the Unpacked event finishes. Again, it’s not clear if pre-orders will also star for the Z Fold 2, recent reports suggest the new foldable device will be available later and in limited numbers in stores around the world.
