According to the users on the ResetEra forums, they have started getting suggestions for a YouTube app if they search the Nintendo website for games. While there is no product page for the app, the text beneath the YouTube suggestion icon says ‘Coming: Nov 08, 2018‘.
This could be huge news for Switch, if this proves to be true, as the console only supports Niconico in Japan and Hulu for the U.S users. With it, gamers would be able to watch videos in between their gaming sessions and get even more out of the device.
This isn’t the first time YouTube and Nintendo some in close proximity to each other: YouTube has been previously included on a Best Buy Nintendo switch listing before but the listing was modified and the feature was removed.
Fingers crossed that this time we’ll get lucky.
