3D-Printed Bakercube, the Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

Crowdfunding platform Indiegogo has had some exciting campaigns like the world’s smallest PC and a blink-to-shoot camera. Recently added is the 3D-printed Barkercube, possibly the best kitchen accessory for anyone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen.

This cute kitchen gadget replaces every measuring cup and teaspoon in the household, providing an all-in-one helpful tool. It’s useful for converting US measurement units like “cups” to a more globally standard unit like “grams,” meaning you can cook from any recipe.

If you have a 3D printer at home or access to one, the Bakercube is downloadable on 3D design website Thingiverse. After it had been downloaded more than 65,000 times, its makers decided to bring it to a wider audience via Indiegogo.

Through their crowdfunding campaign, the Bakercube will be made through injection molding out of food and dishwasher-safe plastic. If you want to try it out, the early bird special promises one Bakercube for $8 or two for $15.
