Before the S8 release, Samsung is going to launch another smartphone, this time with an old feel about it. The W2017 will have two Super AMOLED displays, because it’s going to be a flip-phone! If you loved the design in the 2000s, then you’re going to have to keep an eye on this gem once it arrives in China. Samsung is planning on releasing the phone just there #mobilemagic
Samsung’s flip-phone won’t be breakthrough in mobile devices, instead settling for just good specs. Under the 4.2-inch screen, you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and a 2,300mAh battery as well.
The rear camera will be able to capture photos at 12MP and record video at 4K resolution, media that you will be able to access and edit using a fingerprint sensor to login. The phone comes with Android Marshmallow and has dual SIM support if you’re planning to make it your only, go-to phone.
But… the price might exceed your budget. It’s rumored that the phone of “your youth” packed with the technology of today will cost around ¥20,000 ($2900). In this case, can the flip phone make a comeback?
