Meet the 2020 Apple Design Award Winners

The Apple WWDC conference was held this year online, with all the announcements you’d expect minus one: the Apple Design Award.

Now, the company unveiled the developers who brought “distinctive new ideas to life”, the winners of the coveted Apple Design Awards.

While last year the winners focused on using Apple Pencil and Core ML, this year’s trophy takers have pushed the iPad and its design tools to the max.

Among them is Looom, which lets you do gorgeous hand-drawn animations on the iPad, using either your finger or the Apple Pencil. You can see the winners in action in this video.
