The IFA trade show in Berlin might be having just a virtual presence this year, just like in 2020, but that’s not stopping major players like JBL from attending it.

The audio giant used IFA 2021 as an opportunity to show their 2021 updates for their most loved products.

The big star is definitely the new JBL Flip 6, which will retail for $130 when it launches in December.

The JBL Flip 6 might look identical to the previous model but on the inside it has a new “audio configuration”, using a dual passive radiator, a separate tweeter and a racetrack-shaped woofer.

It offers 12 hours of playback, is fitted with Bluetooth 5.1 and has the IP67 water and dustproof rating.

For bigger parties, JBL introduced two models – the Partybox 110 and Partybox 710, going for $400 and $700 respectively.

The cheaper model, the JBL PartyBox 110, has a 160-watt output with angled-back design for better sound projection, dynamic light show syncs, guitar and mic inputs for karaoke and True Wireless Stereo which lets you join two speakers together.

All of this comes with an IPX4 splash-proof rating and 12 hours of battery life.

For double that price, you can pick the top of the line JBL Partybox 710, a huge speaker with an 800-watt RMS output.

This one comes with two 2.75-inch low distortion tweeters, two improved high sensitivity 8-inch excursion drivers and improved bass reflex port for stronger and deeper bass.

It also has a light show that syncs with the beat of the music and has a color running strobe, color projection light, club light and even starry light. It comes equipped with wheels and a handle and also carries the IPX4 splash-proof rating.

JBL Reflect Flow Pro

As for new headphones, JBL introduced the JBL Reflect Flow Pro, a pair of $180 earbuds with active noise cancelling.

With ANC on, the JBL Reflect Flow Pro have 8 hours of battery life and another 20 in the case, and if you turn it off, the battery life goes up to 10 hours (with another 20 in the case).

They’re compatible with Qi Wireless chargers and a 10 minute charge gives you an hour of playtime. They’re also IP68 wave proof protected and feature sport fins so you can use them during most workouts.

JBL Tune 230NC and JBL Tune 130NC

Cheaper options are the new JBL Tune 230NC and the Tune 130NC, each with a different form factor but both available at $100.

The JBL Tune 230NC have the added bonus of silicone tips over their predecessor. They feature active noise cancelling, 5.8mm drivers, four mic technology (2 on each bud) and touch controls.
