After more than a month after leaking the Huawei P20 Pro specs, Winfuture is back with a report on the soon-to-be-revealed Huawei P20. The phone looks to be a more affordable version of the P20 Pro, coming with many high-end features but at a lower price.
According to Winfuture, the phone is expected to release tomorrow with two cameras on the back, not three like the impressive Huawei P20 Pro. One of the other major differences is that the Huawei P20 will not be IP67 water resistant. For reference, IP67 is one of the highest ratings possible off of the Ingress Protection rating system.
Moreover, the screen is not OLED like the Pro, but LCD. It also has a notch that houses the front camera, speaker, and distance or brightness sensors, but lacks laser technology like the iPhone X for facial authentication.
Here are the rest of the Huawei P20 specs as revealed by Winfuture. Right now they’re only rumors, but odds are they will be confirmed this Tuesday, March 27, at the Huawei launch event in Paris.
- 5.8 inch LCD screen with 2240 x 1080 px resolution
- Dual rear camera 20 + 12 MP with one f/1.6 aperture for low light performance and Leica lenses
- Huawei Kirin 920 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 128GB storage with no microSD slot
