The new beta build we have on our hands comes just days after the re-release of the watchOS 5.1.1 which had initially bricked some Apple Watch Series 4 and had to go through some fixes.
The watchOS 5.1.2 beta brings in a couple of new features, one of them being the Infograph watch face, which comes following numerous complaints from the users concerning the low number of complications for the built-in Apple apps on the watch.
The new watch face puts the generous display to good use and can not only show more complications but also brings in a few new ones for the Mail, Messages, Home, Maps, Apple News, Phone and Remote apps.
There’s also something in store for the Walkie-Talkie, the voice communication app that can be used to send and receive short messages between Apple watch users: it now benefits from a toggle in Control Center that allows the users to enable or disable it.
If you’re eager to test out the new beta you’ll have to first be a registered Apple Developer, That can be done by accessing the Apple website and registering for a $99/year membership.
