Galaxy S10’s Dreaded Corner Notch Makes Another Appearance

It was just last week that we were telling you about the Samsung prototype that appeared during the Qualcomm Tech Summit and featured a corner notch.

Now an image which was originally posted by a Vietnamese user on Facebook shows an alleged S10 prototype bearing the “Beyond 2” codename that also features a corner notch. The Facebook post has been taken down by the time this article is being written but SlashLeaks managed to grab the photo just in time.

In the photo, we can notice that the device sports smaller bezels on the top and bottom. The notch placement also comes in line with a post on Weibo which showed screen protectors that had a similar camera arrangement.

 

The Galaxy S10 is three months away from the official release, so we can safely assume that, in spite of everything we’ve seen so far, this is not the final design we’re going to see on the shelves – Samsung is well known for its ability to change the designs extremely fast.

One thing we know is that the company wants to release something that will put it at the head of the game and, most likely, a corner notch would not be it, but we’ll have to wait and see.
