Asus StudioBook S Is A 17-inch Powerhouse That Fits In 15-inch Bags

Not just gaming laptops get awesome representation at CES 2019 but regular work laptops and ultrabooks catch the eye too.

Asus presents one of the most attractive options in the showroom, the StudioBook S, as it’s an incredible 17-inch laptop so sleek it can actually fit into a bag designed for a 15-inch model.

On the specs front, the Asus StudioBook S makes no compromises: the 17-inch, 1920 x 1200 px 16:10 display is gorgeous, with 97-percent DCI-P3 color gamut that will make any designer turn their head in admiration.

With a hexacore Intel Xeon E-2176M processor paired with Nvidia Quadro P3200 graphics and up to 64 GB memory paired with up to 4 B of PCIe SSD storage, it’s also definitely a powerhouse that makes little compromise.

The same can be said on the connectivity front. While it skips an Ethernet port, it does have Wi-Fi 6, three USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, USB-C Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0, audio jack and a SD 4.0 card reader.

Oh yes, and the touch pad lights up to become a numpad, an added bonus for those looking to do quick calculations.

At 2.39 kgs, it’s not the lightest option in town but considering the specs no one is going to complain on that front. This laptop is also MIL-STD-810G tested and can withstand some rough usage.

The Studiobook S will launch in the following months at a price not yet revealed.
