ZTE made good on its promise… err, its rumors. Indeed, the newest ZTE phone, Axon 7, delivers a premium-feel and top-notch features, not to mention the fact that it’s one of the first handsets that supports Google Daydream #mobilemagic #realitymagic
Axon 7 comes with a 5.5-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 4GB RAM with 64Gb internal storage or 6GB RAM(!) and 128GB storage. Flagship-worthy specs, right? That’s not all. As pictures go, expect crisp images with a 20MP front camera with an optically stabilized f/1.8 lens and an 8MP shooter. Besides, you’ll also find frontal stereo speakers, a fingerprint sensor that vibrates to steer you in the right direction when trying to unlock your device and NFC for contactless payments. In such a performant phone, there’s battery to match: 3250mAh.
The cherry on top? Google Daydream support, especially since Axon 7 comes with a compatible ZTE VR headset. That one delivers an 18-millisecond delay plus 96-degree field of vision.
Axon 7 will soon become available in the U.S. too, where it will retail at $450.
