No doubt about it, 48-megapixel phone cameras are the latest trend and Oppo couldn’t miss it.
The company just announced the Oppo F11 Pro, which features a 48 MP rear setup and a 16 MP pop-up selfie camera that removes the need for a notch on the 6.53-inch display.
According to The Verge, Oppo described the pop-up camera’s transparent design as “inspired by amber”, something that apparently makes the phone look like “a perfume bottle ready to be opened.”
That might explain the gradient color scheme on the back, with its understated transition from red to black and blue. It will also be available in a mesmerizing Aurora Green option.
Under the hood, the Oppo F11 Pro is perhaps less luxurious, having some pretty mid-range specs.
Fitted with the MediaTek Helio P70 processor and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, the F11 Pro has a 4,000 mAh battery with Oppo’s VOOC 3.0 for fast charging.
However, the mid-range aspect also means that Oppo did not sacrifice the features users usually want: ports. The Oppo F11 Pro features a headphone jack, which is welcome news, and a Micro USB port.
Oppo hasn’t revealed pricing details or exact release dates at the launch event but they did say that the F11 Pro will be coming to India first, with other regions to follow.
