Dell has added another gaming laptop under its belt at the CES this year: the Alienware m17, a thin 17 inch laptop that will be available in colors like Epic Silver and Nebula Red.
The laptop is built from a combination of magnesium alloy and copper, a mix that provides the laptop with durability and thermal management.
It comes in two battery options: 60WHr or 90WHr and features AlienFX customizable lighting, Alienware Command Centre software, Cryo-Tech 2.0 technology and the new m-series keyboard with 1.4mm of travel.
It has 6 zones of customizable lighting such as the keyboard, the power button and the LCD cover.
Under the hood, the laptop has options for Intel’s 8th Generation Core i9 8950HK processors and can handle NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q design graphics.
The FHD panel has up to 300 nits of brightness while the UHD panel delivers up to 400.
The Alienware m15 on the other hand promises 17 hours of battery and is built with the same materials as the m17. It benefits from the same graphic options as its m17 sibling.
The pricing for the m17 starts at $1650, while the m15 will cost $1580. Both laptops will become available starting January 21st.
