By the looks of it, you will soon be able to talk to Alexa in Spanish: Amazon announced that it has launched a new voice model for the virtual assistant, which will allow developers to build skills for the Spanish-speaking users.
Considering that the U.S comes only second after Mexico when it comes to the number of Spanish speakers within the country, it’s a surprise Amazon did not consider this option sooner.
Spanish-speaking Alexa will not be restricted to just the Echo devices though: it will also roll out to third-party devices that have Alexa integration with names like Bose, Sony and Facebook already on the list.
The companies have plans to launch devices that will arrive with Alexa already built-in, sometime towards the end of the year.
