Amazon may practice decent prices overall but snagging an Amazon deal from time to time is even better. With that in mind, the company has enabled its AI speaker to help you buy cheap all the time.
Recently, Amazon released an Alexa update which allows users to find out in time of the best deals on site.
The feature works only for Prime customers who live in the US and have one of the more recent Echo speakers.
The new Alexa capability works by alerting its owner of an Amazon deal up to 24 hours in advance. The only condition is that the item in question is in the user’s cart, saved for later or on a wish list.
To enable it, you just have to leave the product of your dreams in one of these lists. Once a deal is available, the yellow light will turn on or a pop-up notification will appear.
Alexa users will also be able to get the AI to buy the item for them directly when the deal is live.
