Fall is well underway in the Northern Hemisphere. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting in on the seasonal changes with a new fall and Halloween-themed update!
Throughout October, you will be able to prepare your island for Halloween at the end of the month. Players will be able to buy candy at Nook’s Cranny and try out unique costumes at Able Sister’s Shop.
Additionally, players will be able plant and grown pumpkins. Once fully grown, they can be used for Halloween specific DIY recipes. In the trailer, the player was able to make spooky outdoor furniture.
From 5pm to midnight on Halloween night, players can reap the rewards of their month long preparation. In front of Town Hall, players will be able to meet Jack, the czar of Halloween. In addition, your other islanders will dressed in costume as well. Any candy bought can be given out to islanders as well.
Perhaps coincidentally, there will also be an update to NookLink. An emote library can now viewed on your Nook Phone. It will definitely be a helpful quality of life update.
The update is available now, so check it out on your own island.
