Apple offers its customers with badly damaged iPhones, a replacement device during the time it gets repaired. Now the company has warned its retail stores, that such replacement phones are in a small count, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday. This comes as a result of the coronavirus outbreak in China, which affected Apple’s manufacturing process.
The same report states a few Apple Stores were short of some individual parts, quoting anonymous employees.
The SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus outbreak began in Wuhan, a key area for Apple’s manufacturing and assembling process. The company was forced to seek other sources for suppliers.
Apple also temporarily closed its 42 stores in mainland China, predicting the whole situation will disrupt its quarterly earnings.
