We have been talking about iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 for some time now, eagerly awaiting its release. Recently, Apple announced it postponed the launch indefinitely following the global health crisis. The device is supposed to be an affordable 4.7-inch entry-level iPhone.
Recent rumors say Apple is also planning to release a 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 9, according to 9to5mac. It’s expected this will be a “Plus” version of the smartphone.
From what we know so far, the new iPhones will use the iPhone 8 design with updated internals. They will rely on Touch ID instead of Face ID and come with Apple Pay’s Express Transit feature, which lets you pay contactless without opening an app or pressing any buttons.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new 4.7-inch entry-level iPhone will cost $399 and will be available with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The device will come in gray, silver, or red.
Probably the new 5.5-inch model will cost 100$ more, like previous “Plus”-sized phones.
