From this day on, you’re free of contract, folks.
Apple is finally selling SIM-free, carrier-less iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on their site for U.S. #mobilemagic
Until now, your hands were tied with a local carrier. Now, the latest flagship phones from Apple have cut those ties and are ready to get in your hands unlocked. That means, though, you’ll have to pay up front $649 for the iPhone 7 or $769 for the iPhone 7 Plus. We think it’s a reasonable price if you want to take life into your own hands.
A SIM-less iPhone 7 or 7 Plus mean you can insert a nano SIM from your carrier of choice and the device will work. To make this dream happen just head to Apple’s Online Store and choose the model. Then, click on the“SIM-free” version on the right.
Beware: the Jet Black iPhone 7 will ship in 3-5 weeks as almost all iPhone 7 Plus versions. For the iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black model you’ll have to wait a painful period of 6-8 weeks.
