Apple TV May Boost its Content With Help From MGM And Pac-12

It seems like the Giant wants to enhance its Apple TV app and Apple TV+ streaming content, and therefore is considering partnering up with MGM Holdings and the Pac-12 Conference.

According to The Wall Street Journal report, MGM Holdings representatives held meetings with Apple executives this year, in order to come up with the terms of their potential partnership.

It this partnership would go further, viewers would be able to enjoy James Bond titles, as well as movies from MGM such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, RoboCop, The Hobbit, The Magnificent Seven, or The Silence of the Lambs.

Regarding the Pac-12 potential partnership, if Apple will join, users will finally benefit from live sports, with over 100 marquee basketball and football games licensed to ESPN and Fox.

According to Deadline, what Pac-12 wants to take away is an equity partner.

It’s still premature to assume the companies will come to an agreement, as the talks are still very preliminary.
