A new Apple event will take place on March 25th at the Steve Jobs Theater. According to sources that have reported the event to BuzzFeed News, we won’t see any new AirPods or an upgraded version of the iPad Mini on the stage.
Instead, the event will be focused on Apple’s subscription services. Could it be that we’ll hear an update on the company’s video streaming service? Perhaps, but the sources declined to comment.
It’s worth noting that, in January, it was reported that Apple had told studios and networks to get ready for a possible April launch. Plus, just yesterday, The Wall Street Journal stated that Apple was working on a news subscription service.
The latter report seems to back up the theories surrounding the March event the most. The news subscription service would reportedly cost $10 per month and would offer users access to a large number of publications.
Even so, Apple hasn’t confirmed the rumors, so take all this information with a grain of salt for now.
